I’m very excited, because this is the Ethical Peach’s first review for luxe US cosmetics brand, Hourglass… and I happen to be a huge fan of Hourglass.  These guys are famous for their complexion products. I have to say, from my experience with their in-store testers, I’m not going to be arguing with this stake on their reputation – their face products are exquisite, although so far my budget has pretty much prevented me from purchasing any of them.

Despite the truly exceptional quality of their complexion ranges, Hourglass has clearly not been skimping on their paying attention to their other products. Lips and eyes are equally well catered for and today we’ll be focussing on an example from the latter.

  • BRAND: Hourglass
  • PRODUCT NAME: Visionaire Eye Shadow Duo in ‘Dune’
  • PRICE:   AUD $34.18 from Zuneta.com
  • TOXICITY: Contains talc, methylparaben, propylparaben; may contain titanium dioxide (does not contain carmine)
  • VEGAN: Yes
  • RATING: 5/5 (I was going to dock a point for the inclusion of the ingredients stated above, but I think the vegan-ness and sheer quality of the product deserves its 5/5 rating :))

This here is their Visionaire eyeshadow duo in ‘Dune’:

A very happy new year to all folks out there who celebrate! It’s the year of the Snake, so that’s great news if you’re a girl, apparently. Yesterday was actually the first day of the new year but I was having too much fun setting up the Peach to post about it… sorry! c:

Anyway, I’m terribly excited here at the Peach because look what I’ve just received!!!

Goodies from Zuneta.com!

Goodies from Zuneta.com!

Yes, yes it’s my first haul! I received this in the post from Zuneta today and as you can see, it arrived in beautiful packaging. I have to make it clear that this was a personal shop and not a PR sampling! So I bought all the products featured for myself 🙂 Now apart from the fact that the Hourglass eyebrow pencil was the wrong colour, it was otherwise great. And this is the best bit: THE RAHUA CAME FREE! The promotion is currently running so I’d advise you all to get there ASAP. Repeat: it came free…

Yes, yes it did. *giggle*
