Botani was founded as a company specialising in using olive squalene in treatment creams for common skin complains such as acne and fungal infection. The range has now expanded to include products suitable for most skin types. A well-performing, humble range that provides excellent quality skin care at an affordable price.

This famous brand has, quite simply, the best soaps on the market. All are pure vegetable castille soaps. They’re gentle on the skin, cruelty-free, very effective and smell gorgeous! Only the lip and body balms are non-vegan, as they contain beeswax. Go buy! Now!

Peach favourite: Well we’ve only ever tried the “Vanilla & Orange Peel” hand cream before… and we liked what we saw!

We’re impressed with the natural and organic credentials of this luxury Australian skin care brand. We like the vintage feel and look of its eco-friendly packaging, too! Grown claims not to test on animals but its cruelty-free status is as yet unclear, according to the official website. We’d like to find out more – perhaps it could improve its Ethical Peach rating! What stands out in the range? The fruity, zesty fragrances of all its products. Give it a go, if you can afford to. We’re looking forward to trying more from this stylish and ethical brand.

Peach favourite: We’re currently loving the chamomile/rose water Hydrating Mist Toner. Along with Perfect Potion, Sukin’s rosehip oil is also the best value stuff on the market (yes, Trilogy’s is actually ridiculously expensive but has all the hype…)

This has got to be by far the best brand we have ever seen that combines so well the values we uphold here at the Ethical Peach. Environmentally conscious, vegan and modest. CHEAP. Sukin does not pretend to be anything other than a brand that simply cares for your skin. The range is large enough that it caters to everybody. No ridiculous claims for those concerned with miracle anti-ageing regimes – just pure, natural skincare. Hence: one point deducted because they honestly aren’t geared for time-reversing results. Just the healthy maintenance of the skin we were all born with: we love. If you’re new to the whole natural and/or organic movement, then PLEASE START HERE. If you don’t like you can always work your way up the price ladder. We’d recommend starting off with the facial moisturiser and antioxidant eye serum.
